The prisons usually have a library for them to use. I don't think they're taking correspondance courses.

http://www.nolopress.com is another good site. There is an online law school (http://www.concordlawschool.com)and several online paralegal programs. Check http://www.directoryofschools.com/search/index.php for a decent listing of those schools. The ABA will not accredit any online school. You would be able to take the bar in CA only if you graduated from Concord Law School.
The reason that prisoners are entitled to study law is that they have a need for access to law books. Courts have ruled, and I believe correctly, that they are entitled to these materials to participate in, or even prepare, their own defenses.

I do not know when they have the time to study LAW.
I mean in between the "womanly duties" and the soapy showers and the holding hands and talking about each other's thoughts --who has the time.

there are law courses available thru home study, go to google and write in home study law courses, after learning to research you can talk to different lawyers, and become a paralegal while studying and get paid for it, a para legal course might be your 1st best bet, don't ever think it will be easy,
