I have a court order in California and it gave me custody and child support orders. I then got back together with the dad in another state. Did I void those orders? And now I am not with the dad anymore, but Im now in a totally different state than the first two. So does anyone know if my California orders from the beginning are still good?
Thank you!

Yup! Any state has to respect a law made in another. Comes straight out of the constitution, the "full faith and Credit" clause.

Same reason that you can get married in one state and that barrage license is still valid if you move to another state.
It's still valid.

I am just as confused as you are. I would have to think that the original California order is still valid unless you legally voided it in court after moving in with the dad (assuming there was no marriage during this most recent time you lived with the father). I would consult a lawyer and check for sure. It probably would not be hard to get a new order in your current state if the previous order is invalid.

The orders from Calif. are the ruling orders regardless of what state you are in or whether you lived with the father or not.
Here's the real kicker. If you want to change the orders, you have to go bak to the court in Calif. to do so.
