Death penalty?

Who is responsible when an inocent man is convicted of a crime he didn't commit and put to death. Should the society be held responsible or a specfic elemnt of the goverment. Please explain your answers. Thank you in advance.

To be honest I dont believe in the death penalty, I think that a person should be punished not killed. I know alot of people will disagree with me because of some of the evil crimes that some people due. I think its the governments responisblity and us as a people in a way. This is a very complicated question because I know that if someone harmed someone very close to me my feelings would probably change. I think we should leave the punishment up to God, his punishment is much harsher than ours on earth.

To be strictly honest with u. If a person didnot commited the crime then they shouldnt get the death penalty. But if they killed somebody then they should get the death penalty because as much as the victim suffered the suspect should suffer too.

Ok-- Mr. Highschool Student. First of all after one is on trial the DA has to go through hoops to even ask for the death penalty. Then after he has a trial ( see in this country we have courts to present evidence ) and sentanced 25 years of apeals to examine every little detail in more detail. then the person is put to death.

You can't just blame the judge or the DA. The reason the person is on death row is because they did their job. The system is not perfect, so instead of trying to place blame we should strive to make changes to make the system better.
