There are no laws in any state regarding dating. There are laws regarding sexual contact (which is not limited merely to intercourse), but they are two different things. However, the parents of a minor have the right to decide who their child is and isn’t allowed to date. IF the minor’s parents are okay with them DATING, it’s fine.

It is illegal for a 15 year old to engage in sexual activities with an 18 year old.

"going out" really does not carry any official legislation.

Depends on the State if Sex is allowed (ex. South Carolina allows it), but a date is legal at any age. Dating has no legal significance.

Yes, but if there is any sex, then the 18 year old goes to jail.

You can keep the company of anyone you want regardless of age. However, there are laws that depend on the state regarding sex with minors.

Go out, yes. Have sex, NO! Statutory rape laws prohibit having sex with a minor.

the answer has already been said....but he would only go to jail if you press charges for rape or something like that.
