First off, most past trials took so long because the courts actually needed someone in court to try. most war criminals flee the country of the crime. Saddam had it coming. Most U.N. tribunals have been real buoreaucratic and got nothing done.

The evidence against Saddam is strong and it is the reason why there is no delay in the trial of his case because there are no difficult questions to be resolved.

BCoz the U.S.A. feared him. They wanted to finish him as soon as possible. By the way, to add salt to the wounds, the U.S.A. killed him on the previous day of the Islamic festival. As for the others, the U.S.A. was hand in glove with them. So, they slowed down the trial to such an extent that their criminal allies could live peacefully.

the decision change into very strong and change into performed lower than Iraqi regulation. i don't believe of that this verdict is going to reason any turmoil in Iraq. it would want to help, who's conscious till the sentence is performed.

His trial wasn't quick,but his sentence was carried out quickly.Apparently in Iraq they carry out sentences almost immediately,unlike the US where we let our prisoners who have been sentenced to death wait for years.

The trial wasn't in the U.S. In the U.S. trials take a lot longer, and then you have appeal after appeal after appeal.

maybe because the iraqi government was pressured to render judgment on saddam.
