Why are people more likely to follow the polital views of their parents? This isn't always the case, But through my experiences I've found this to be about 95% true.
Any thoughts?

I was convicted and received a 5 years suspended sentence (not deferred) when I was only 18 years old for a violent crime felony. I cannot support myself or find a trade to specialize in. Will I never be able to find a job because of a mistake I made years ago?? I have communication, typing and computer skills but I cannot find a job in that industry that doesn't do background checks in Oklahoma. :( Please help

Germany has established monetary funds for Jewish culture and heritage. Why cant the US own up for the 300+ years of repression? This is an apology not a handout. How could anyone be against better opportunities for black people born into poverty? If anything it would strengthen the country with a better citizenry.

Even though slavery ended 150 years ago, the Civil Rights movement is a mere 40 years old. Think about that people. Younger than most of your parents.

My public high school orchestra which is located in the United States is scheduled to perform 'Hatikvah', the national anthem of Israel, at a large, public performance in New York City. Do you feel that this is an appropriate performance piece? Consider the controversial political and religious implications of the piece and the performing group. Thanks for your feedback.

For reference, here are the lyrics to this piece:

As long as deep in the heart,
The soul of a Jew yearns,
And forward to the East
To Zion, an eye looks
Our hope will not be lost,
The hope of two thousand years,
To be a free nation in our land,
The land of Zion and Jerusalem.

A nurse who had asked me to help her put the patient into the commode so that she can get a urine sample. She left the room and command me to get out the room also for patient privacy. later, I came back within 10 minutes to check the patient. I noticed the patient is laying on the floor and the commode was upside down. Urine is all over the floor. I quickly reported the incident to the nurse. This is how I said words to words,

"Jane, he is on the floor, and the commode is upside down" Jane replied, "Who, who is he?" I said "The patient,Mr JOHN DOE!" and she replied with harsh voice, "Can't you speak english?, Can't you understand english? You always confused me"

What did I do wrong in this scenario?
Did she said such words just because I am minority?
Now wait a minute, If she is talking like these! Isn't it possible also that she can treat any patients the same?
I mean not treating them right?

To me the way she treated me was a verbal abuse, If she has the ability to treat me like

I own a gun and it is registared to me under my name when I was married before.(I've since married again and it's different than what's on the license) 4 years ago I was ressted for cocaine. It was some residue in a few baggies. I went to jail for a month, I did 6 months rehab.II got 3 years probation .community service . fines everything. I'm off now. But can I keep the gun that I had before I got a felony to have for protection only in my house? I was told by various freinds that if I get caught with that gun or any gun I'll go to prison. Even if I'm around someone that has a gun I can too. (Even if I don't know that they have it)Is this true? Do you ever get to own a gun again?

make abortion like cigarettes.
what i mean is:
keep it legal, for two reasons,
1) agreeing with the "left wingers", it is, after all, the womans choice, not some old geezer sitting high in his chair on the hill.
2) i'm one of those who is for as limited goverment as possible. the people should make thier own descion, right or wrong (for both moral & heatlth grounds).
...BUT...
get the propaganda machine to steamroll all over it. have advertisment out the A$$ with studies that state why it's bad, like cigarettes!
look, we've all seen those "truth" commercials; & they just might have an impact on some people, might. but the point remains that tobacco is still legal, but there's so much propaganda against it, you'd think that it was a crime punishable by death! yet people still have the choice to smoke or not to smoke. same idea should go with abortion, give people the opportunity, but severely warn 'em against it nonetheless.
win-win-win situation...
