A friend of mine bought a house a couple of years ago with his business partner as an investment. Although my friend found the money for the house by remortgaging his home the house is in the name of his business partner. Since they bought the house his partners marriage ended. Now, they are trying to sell the house his partners ex wife is trying to get some of the money. Also, His partner is looking for a home a long way away which seems to him and i that he does not intend to pay my friend even if he gets the money and not his ex wife. My friend has not yet contacted a solicitor. What should he do?

A African American male to my left about 3 inches from me yelled this is a stick up, I turned and said hey and noticed he was unarmed he had a watch in one hand and the other hand was empty. I observed no weapons brandished so I said you don't even have a weapon and he was ignored.

Do drugs make you think you have a weapon when you do not, I could have done something but others do not like when I try to do their jobs for them. He may have been insane so it is likely and if I responded with force they would have blamed me so I will let the locals track him down, I just heard there was 11 shots fired at a house near where I life and they are looking for three young 18 or so american american male youthes it could have been one of them.

OOOH well the joy of freedom, everyone freaked but me then we ignored him I assume they called the cops.

New Labour seem to have ignored the British public's concerns over Europe as it did with Iraq. New Labour are to remove much of our rights to freedom of speach and are adopting fascist tactict's to control the country, New labour have introduced secret police and are generaly seeking to imprison those that speak out. So what do you think the chances are that we the British public will get our say on Europe.

If the United States government was able to guarantee that you would be protected from foreign terrorism and/or invasion in exchange for the ability to investigate you without probable cause, total control of the media, and limiting your freedoms to speak and express yourself, would you follow the plan? Would you give up your own rights in order to live or would you risk your life to keep your rights?

In the Bible, "marriage" is defined as a union between a man and a woman. Period. Like it or not, this country was founded with biblical influence woven into it's ideals. To ask that the law be changed to allow gay marriage would be asking to ignore/delete/edit many passages in the Bible simply for one's own personal convenience. We can't do that, can we?

My nephew was driving down a road at night--the road was wet--a large dead tree branch feel onto the hood of his car totalling the veh. The town has case information stating previous cases where the tree was not reported in the town in writing and that is why the town did not take the tree down--my nephew has a statement from the homeowner stating that he asked for the tree to be removed and the town said they could not. The town never asked for anything in writing at that time. That was 2years before this accident occurred. I would like any positive case law whereby a similar situation occurred to someone and they won a settlement.
