I recived an order dated 10-31-06 ordering my ex to pay me directly weekly. He just filed a motion to reconsider. Does he have to still pay the support until the motion to reconsider is ruled on?

I would say no, not until the final ruling is handed down after reconsidering. However, he may later have to pay retro to 10/31/06 if it doesn't go in his favor.

YES - an order stays in effect until a new order replaces it.
