Simple. He who calls himself Christian may be living under false pretenses. I.e. Goes to church every Sunday - then watches porn during the week. A lot of it is morally corupt. Read O'Reilly's book, Culture Warrior. An awesome book !!!!!!!

Sweetheart um, society has always been corupt as a matter of fact, I think we are much less morally corupt than we were 100 years ago. Women now have rights, whereas they didn't 100 years ago. Slavery has ended. The death penalty is necessary and I think that if you read Genesis, the 20th chapter you will find that God ordered anyone who killed that there life should be taken. As far as abortion goes, I think your being awful judgemental if your claiming to be a christian yourself. Of chourse I used to feel the same way, just remember this, JUDGE NOT LEST YEA BE JUDGED WITH THE MEASURE YE METE IT SHALL BE GIVEN UNTO YOU. Also, 100 years ago, well heck, even 50 or 60 years ago, even though abortion was not as common place as it is now, it was very common place for when a woman gave birth to a child who was mentally retarded or deformed or handicapped in some way, for them just not to feed the child until it.........well you get the picture, now you tell me, has our society really declined? Because I personally think it is a whole lot better.

Any one who lived in the 50.s knows that Americans were a proud people and a dedicated people. in 1960the Kennedy's came along and sent troops into Arkansas to enforce integration,
so then when the blacks went to white schools they disrupted classes so much no one could learn any thing so our colleges etc had to lower the entrance exams and when a black was expelled or punished the A,C,L,U, was right there to sue or what ever it took to make the schools abide by gov, mandated rules,
then the A,C,L,U, decided prayer in school was unconstitutional
display of the ten commandments was unconstitutional,
displaying a nativity scene was unconstitutional, they even had crosses removed from veterans grave yards, unconstitutional
prohibiting queers from becoming boy scout leaders, same
this list could go on and on,
then our faithful ministers , like jimJones.JimBaker.Swaggart, again the list go's on and on, our politicians have sold us out to the Jew's and filled their pockets doing so, our courts have become so corrupt it is better if we didn't have any at all, so now look at this picture and tell me how or why any one would want to be moral , good , law abiding, work, it is so dis hearting I am ashamed to be a part of such.

The morals and values and ethics and our culture have declined so low that we are lost. The reason is because 20 million illegal aliens have changed everything with the bar lowered to their illiterate, uneducated level. What did you expect? We are in an invasion state and they have washed across the country and taken all that was good and trashed it.
Abortion and death penalty are constituional issues. Religion does not have a place in government. But clearly, stupidity and graft and selling out do.

with more ways for information to be shared and distributed, different points of views are further exposed. There are many many reasons for why people feel the way they do about abortion and the death penalty.
everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I do disagree with people who claim to be "religous" and yet do immoral things....Also some people who grow up in an "extremely" religous family see things around them and get influenced easily...
The biggest problem in our society is that we at time do not understand what our priorities are. Family, self respect and your character are things we should invest our time on. If people know who they are then their concience will lead them to good...
we as a society have such great potential ... we just need the encouragement...more good news than bad...more positive role models than none... Morality doesn't lie in religion...Morality lies in us...

So-called Christians came here from Europe to escape an oppressive government, high taxes, and religious persecution. The first thing they did was run the native American Indians off their land, massacre many of them, and squander the natural resources of this beautiful land of plenty - something Indians regarded as sacred.
Then they slaughtered buffalo on the great plains, just for the sport of it. Then they shipped slaves in from Africa, buying and selling them like property.
Eventually the moral decay became so much more pronounced once movies and television crept into our society. Murders and rapes are now 'daily fare' for most TV viewers.
Meanwhile, the wealthy elitists who run this country from behind-the-scenes have become terribly amoral - completely indifferent to our society's mores. They have clawed their way to the top by cheating, lying, pandering, bribing, prostituting themselves, influencing vulnerable youth, and stealing in an effort to win at any cost. Politicians, people in the entertainment industry, the military-industrial complex and big business have set low standards for the rest of America. -RKO-

there is mostly a distribution of morality. as quickly as we make a assessment with time, we could maximum regularly sense some component is declining. this is entropy. international will proceed to pass in direction of chaos. Then there will be a injury down and a clean order would be born. do no longer study morality with what you knew it to be ten or 20 years in the past. study it with what grew to become into meant to have been the norm one hundred years in the past. the image would be clearer.

Yes it really started getting bad in the 60's with the hippies and has spiraled out of control. These hippies are now Senators and Representativesof the Democratic party! It is their liberal agenda that has caused the moral decline.

Christianity has nothing to do with moral decline, our biggest problem to date in this area, is poor childcare...lax school systems...and isolated society. I'm an old hippy and my kids were raised just fine.

It's one thing to claim you are Christian and another to act like one. Look at all the Christian leaders charged with pedophilia and other misbehavior. If so many leaders misbehave, what can we expect of the rest of the flock?
