Today even the medical faculty of liberal Washington University took an ad in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in opposition to Missouri Proposition 2, and the liberal Sierra club paid for the ad. I was afraid opposition to Prop 2 was only a conservative thing.

this would save alot of tax money!instead of feeding condemned death roll inmates steaks for 30 years before they execute them.
+ the criminals might think twice if they knew if they get the death penalty, they'll be killed in 30 days.

My wedding photographer says that the pictures of my ceremony didn't turn out, that they were too dark b/c she had to go to the balcony of our church to get pictures since our pastor waived her hands and said no to her at the start of the ceremony. Our pastor said this was b/c she was using flash, and she was told there was to be no flash in the church. If the photog would have turned the flash off and took pics from the lower level they would have turned out!
Plus we have video of her taking pictures pre-ceremony 5ft away from people (with flash!) and they aren't included on the CD of pictures she gave us, that's supposed to have every picture she took on it.

I have emailed her 3 times asking her to give us the pics, and I sent her a letter stating we wanted every single picture, even the ones that are too dark. I don't want money, maybe a refund but really I just want my pictures!

If I sue her could I just sue for my pics? Or could I only sue for a refund?

Why don't any of the politicians in the republic have any shame
Virtually none of them have ever resigned over the corrupt dealings and backscratching that has gone on for the last 50 years
Look at the names being hauled through the tribunals
Developers giving sweeteners
Berties cash bungs, (amatuerish for Charlie though)
McCreevey and his cronies and the Horse stud tax farce
Even other politicians open there mouths under Dail privalige and prejudice court procecutions against fellow party members (wasn't that a coincidence Mary !)
Jeeeesus they'd resign in England over un unpaid bus fare at this stage (not that you'd see 2 Jags on a bus even when he was Transport)
Any views?

I went into the hair store to bit up a few things and I caught two Black girls using some of the hair products and then putting them into their bags, so I told the shop owner, who stop the girls and phone the polices. Once the police got there the two girls then preceded to play the race card against me (I’m Black) and the shop keep (who was also Black).

As the police buddled them into the car to take them to school one of the girls called me … lets just say something a little stronger then an Oreo. Should I have tried to get them pay or was I right to just tell the shop keeper?

If I shouldn't spank my child for hitting? Isn't that basically the same as executing a person for murder? Does killing a killer make things better? As a prisoner Saddam Hussein will suffer for life-to be executed he will find his freedom, and be considered a martyr.

Twenty students living in Little Rock, Arkansas were suspended from school on Friday October 6th after silently protesting the school districts restrictive uniform policy by wearing black armbands to school. After the school district found out about the black armbands they violated the students rights of freedom of speech by disciplining and/or suspending about 30 students (“Arkansas Students”). Many people, like these students, are having their freedom of speech rights violated just because those we put in office don’t like what we say. What is it with our country that many incidents like this are happening all over? Not only are teachers and school districts doing it but law enforcement officers as well. One case dealt with a man and his sister being arrested while protesting at a rally in western Pennsylvania all because he carried a sign that read “The Bush family must surely love the poor – they made so many of us.” (“Free Speech”) Another was a woman was asked to take down

According to a Senior British policemen interviewed on Radio 4 last week, they have asked Parliament to pass laws to make it illegal for men to cover their faces at any time in a public place. Yet he stated that Senior policemen supported the right for women to cover their faces in public.

Is this a case of Sexual Discrimination or Political / Religious Correctness?

Part of his argument is that it makes it difficult to identify people in case the police need to arrest them.

As the majority of men do not commit crimes, should the majority of men pay for the actions of a minority?

If a fashion was started for men to wear veils, should those who wear them be incarcerated for following fashion?

What do the 'public' think? I want to know!

Ordered a calzone for delivery with my credit card. Got a call back 15 minutes later. They accused me of making harrassing phone calls, cussed me out, and refused to deliver my order. They said that the harrassing phone calls came from a blocked number but they thought/knew it was me harrassing them. I obviously didn't do it. She continued to yell ay me and cuss at me... so I asked for her boss, and she said that she was the manager. I drove to the place to get my credit card information and address back from the crazy person that called me cussing. She refused on the grounds that the owner took the information and left.

I want an apology from the lady that was rude, so I am getting in contact with the owner tomorrow. Whether or not the owner can get me the apology, I want to make sure as many people know about this terrible business etiquette as possible.

I need suggestions on how to get the word out. Thanks

His power was snatched, his sons killed in cold blood and now his death sentence. True Saddam was a bad man but he had his goods to. He was secular and respected the rights of women. Where else in the Arab world would you find women enjoying the same rights and no other religion can be practised other than Islam. I really feel sorry for him.

I KNOW he was a ruthless dictator who killed many of his own citizens, but are we still hanging people in the 21st century? Is the death penalty not the irrevocable denial of one's human rights? Does an "eye for an eye" actually teach a lesson? Please, PLEASE honest and mature responses only.
