Why is it legal for a woman to have an abortion....but if a pregnant woman is killed it's double murder.....It's a baby is the mother is killed....but it's not a baby if the mother aborts it.....is something wrong with this picture or what?

He is going to jail in san bernardino county. We are not Vets. If he dies, they can get SS benefits. Are their benefits while he is incarcerated?

My boyfriend is buying a home with a friend. He was just told yesterday that it is good to have a contract between him and his friend in case anything happens. Now I'm not sure which contract this is, but he asked me to look up "Joint Tenancy" but every time I do it's about renters. He is actually going to be on the Deed, and he needs to write up a contract but doesn't have a clue where to start. I need a sample contract or something to go by that I can add on to, of course any advice is greatly appreciated but I need something like a template to start with so I can include the names, etc. PLEASE HELP!!!! The house closes on the 10th and he wants to include it in the contract. YOUR HELP IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED.

Did you hear about that story where a woman sold her soiled panties? From SC?

It's against the law to sell soiled panties & she made like 9 grand off of it. Besides not understanding why anyone would want to buy them...

I was just curious to know what states regulate this sort of thing & if you could...list a reference please.

Some cities and states are passing measures to legalize possession of a small amount of pot.

However, selling it is still illegal.

How does that make sense legally? Is it a case of government hypocrisy?

I'm so tired of hearing that it is a gateway drug. Isn't alcohol too. Also the biggest problem with it being gateway is that people try it and see the aren't psychotic and then they don't believe the other drugs are as bad as people say so they give them a go. On one of those news shows where people call in, I learned that Washington DC citizens voted 69% in favor of legalazation and then congress said no. I guess that they feel we are all morons and need to be protected from ourselves. You know Give me saftey or give me death.

When in a trademark dilution case, you dont have to prove likelihood of confusion, but then again isn't that almost what trademark dilution is? For example, the case of toy "r" us and adults "r" us.....that is trademark dilution and likelihood of confusion....is it not?

I'm very interested in Crime Scene Investigation but more interested in the photography part of it for now until I know whether or not I could handle the Investigative parts.
Are there schools you go to? Or does every city have a training course in it?

I've had some problems with people coming on my property at night and messing with my daughter and I so I got this gun from this person I don't even know, But now I'm worried if its stolen or something even worse. I would vote for it if it were ever offered. Don't you think after the first public hanging for rape or murder that the crime rate would go down? Of course there would have to be laws involved for self-defense and so that the innocent people wouldn't suffer... but say there is an armed robbery and a shooting takes place (the robber shoots the store clerk). Shouldn't that robber be shot or hanged as an example to others: DON'T DO THIS OR ELSE?

very misleading advert -drove car for 5 miles ,phoned to take it back he said it will have to be next week because he was going away ? ad says bought as seen - but it was not as seen on the e bay page ,i have all the receipts for the work that had to be carried out + i think a very dodgy MOT .the garage i took it to agree unlikely it had passed " legally" the person i bought it from refused to take it back and refund the money ,ebay are compensating me for the trouble in the sum of £100 , i paid £9000 for the vehicle , thank,s for taking the time to read this .

If a lawyer knows their defendent is guity of a crime (like murder) can they still say they're innocent and defend them in the trial? Or do they like find some excuse on why they committed the murder (insanity)?

I have been called the Messiah many times in my past. Its a very stressful image to have. I believe its usually started by low IQ people who are in that way attacking me. Lately for some reason it has most often been said by Hispanics. I do not like it. In my older age I've found it puts to much stress on me. I'm not the Messiah. Have you ever heard of this kind of problem? And what can a person do about it?

Hello, when I was 18 my dad forged my signature and put me as president of his company. I don't remember the exact reasons. Well now a 5 years later a police officer dropped of a letter stating that me and my dad and the company were to be sued for $10,000. He told the police that I am nowhere to be found, I did not actually recieve the notice. I do not want to report my dad for fraud but he said I have nothing to worry about because "this is a civil suit" and you do not need to appear in court if they did give me the notice. He said he is sending a lawyer to take care of it and "do worry, i'll tell you when to worry about it." What do you think?

I am also using his office right now for personal business, so I don't exactly want to get on his bad side.
