Depending on the sellers rating you 'might' have had redress (through Paypal if you had used them) at one stage but because you carried out repairs, that deems you have accepted the vehicle. If you push the seller, they may accept taking it back (well who wouldnt, you just spent 3k on it). They are under no obligation to refund money you have spent on it. The best chance you may have is if you can prove the MOT is illegal and then go after the garage that gave it, again because you have had many repairs carried out, I suspect this would also be an impossible route to prove.

Sorry its not better news.

in the event that they are prepared to deliver the vehicle to you and prepared to pay to have it shipped lower back in case you do no longer like it, sure that's a ripoff or a scam. If I have been merchandising a vehicle on Ebay, transport would be on the price of the customer and the words would say that they had a precise to envision it earlier procuring, yet whilst they chosen to no longer, there would be no return. a stable rule of thumb is that if it sounds too stable to be genuine, it in all probability is. If somebody is merchandising a vehicle on Ebay, they do no longer would desire to sell on Craigslist. My guess is which you will no longer see the vehicle on Ebay in case you bypass look for it. as quickly as you deliver the scammers money you will by no potential hear from them lower back and additionally you unquestionably will by no potential see a vehicle which you supposedly bought.

I thought eBay had a policy that they guarnteed vehiicles to some extent. I think your next step is small claims court, 9000 pounds though that is a major crime.
