I'm very interested in Crime Scene Investigation but more interested in the photography part of it for now until I know whether or not I could handle the Investigative parts.
Are there schools you go to? Or does every city have a training course in it?
I really would like to figure it out.

You need to go to college and major in Criminal Justice. Also a degree in Chemistry is very helpful. You can't take a photography course because any idiot with half a brain can take pictures.

You need to go to college, and study both film/photography, as well as a science such as chem, biology or physics.

Take it from me - I went to school to do this, and was told by counselors to get a degree in Criminal Justice. After I graduated, I couldnt get a job as a Crime Scene investigator because I had no schooling in chem, physics or biology... DO NOT listen to a college counselor - that is what I did, and it was WRONG. Go to your local police and ask them what they look for - not some moron school counselor. (I wish I knew that 5 years ago...)

Good luck! Its a great job - no chance of getting downsized because there is always crime....

hi

I'm not so sure about crime scene photography, but I did find a site that seems to help a lot with career photography stuff and it has a whole lot more I discovered. I've left the link in the source box below.

Hope this helps.

contact a college counselor...they will get you on the right track for this career and a degree (Unless you already have one) so you will be worth more pay in the end.
