In terminal cases completely for it! We guarantee prisoners the right "no cruel and unusual treatment", but we force our own society to suffer needlessly when the end is going to be the same no matter what? Makes no sense. Also, if a medical abortion is allowed later in pregnancy to keep a child from a life of suffering, why force our elderly? Makes no sense.

One view is that individual rights are very broad and any citizen has the right to determine the time and manner of his death barring real harm to others. That a quality and dignified life is more important than life at all costs.
Another view is that the state and the medical profession should always hold the view that being alive is better than being dead or else you could end up with very serious abuses.

I am in favor of it. I find it utterly cruel to make someone suffer when there is no hope for a cure or relief. We have a local case in the news here. The husband is in his mid 80's, his wife was suffering & he shot her. She's dead, he's now in jail. Tragic on many levels. If she could have had something done by her doc, she could have died more peacefully, husband wouldn't be in jail, and lots of the family's suffering could have been allevaited.
