People really need to get off their soap box. While I would never want someone to have an abortion, I’m not in any position to tell a woman what to do with her body. Why should some poor girl have to have her life wrecked because some jerk off guy decided it was ok to rape her? Also, do people really think that abortions would all of a sudden stop if they became illegal to perform? Women were having them long before they became legal and they would continue to have them regardless of the law. At least now they can get the proper medical care that is required. Now, with that said, I’m in no way advocating abortion as a means of birth control.

If a pregnant mother is killed for it to be a double homicide if the baby is viable. Which means if the baby was born right then it has a chance to live.
Women who get abortions get it in the first 4 mos and the baby is not viable.
I'm not really sure where I stand but a good statement for you to make pro life wise is for you to adopt a retarded crack baby with hiv or something.

That is a very good debate question. There are no defined areas regarding this that people want to admit they understand. Abortion is a painful horrendous experience all around. If you are against abortion, reach fathers who don't teach their sons personal responsibility and consequences per actions by example. We all know our society is sexually centered to provide stimulation for men which confuses and misleads young men and women (boys and girls) who in turn after a lifetime of exposure to these stimuli understand life to be only about 'getting off'.
What's wrong with this picture is that not many take responsibility for allowing this ideal of 'sex at any cost' to take precedence in our lives.

first if a pregnant woman is killed, it is not a double murder, it is a murder(a class A felony) and an abortion charge(which states its only illegal if the mother does not consent and is a class D felony)
second it needs to be up to the mother to decide what she does

I think abortion should be legal. I think a women should have the decision to decide since sometimes acidents do happen. I just hate the teenagers that have about 4 b/c they are dumb and have unprotected sex over an over.

it's a very complex question, wish i could answer it. but it's justified in case of incest or rape. with so many types of contraceptives freely sold over the counter, there is no justification for taking a human life and it should not be taken as a form of birth control .......... oops i forgot to take it ....... i don't feel natural with it ........ never mind it can always be aborted! this is the kind of mentality that is sick

I wonder if a doctor could get off of a murder charge by saying it was a botched abortion.

That is the difference between a decision she makes and a decision made by others (and usually against her will)

Why is it that "pro life" conservatives are usually in favor of the death penalty and were all for Bush's Iraq war?

Good question!

I am neither for abortion or murder.

So wouldn't abortion be murder for hire?
