NO. Even if it isn't a copywritten logo, you'll still get in trouble. They can establish the fact that they have been using that logo for longer than you, and you will be in big trouble.

Here is an actual case about a guy who set up a website to promote a local mall because he liked it and wanted to let people about what they had as a gesture of goodwill. He did not do this for profit, he was just a fan. Look at what lengths the lawyers went to for nothing. Read this when you have the time and see what kind of legal issues you could face:

no it might be considered libelous. Libel is a harmful statement in a fixed medium, especially writing but also a picture, sign, or electronic broadcast.
