Legal or not, it's sure not a good idea. Big brother is watching.

If that person just asked the question and did not make a statement to do it, then it is not illegal, however this site as there are other ways can be monitored and traced to the location of it's sender by certain authorities. If you ask a question in a court of law and warned to be quiet or you are out of order, then yes you can be fined or jailed for that, there is no absolute freedom of speech.

why r u so agressive & saying where the hell did...................? Dear our constitute gave us the freedom of asking any thing from any one but the question or query should be legal, not against of any law, If u want to ask any question from president to satisfy ur query then u could ask but in a proper method or proper way & it is the duty of president to satisfy his countrymen in every respect. But if u want that president meet u then think about it dear he has some ability then he selected as president so cool down & try to meet him in a proper way.

It is on here, i asked a particularly offence question directed at particularly offensive people on friday, i think i got 4 violation notices for it. Granted, i was a bit over the top, but still, i think it should have been left on just to see if there were any sensible people willing to answer it. Censorship is wrong.

Asking questions is not prohibited but if it is offensive to others, morals, law and public order it is already not tolerated. Freedom has limits.
