Joe bought farm in 1937, he also bargained for 8 more acres, but never paid owners, 1958 Joe sold farm plus 8 acres he bargained for to Martha, she in turn gave deed of entire farm to her son in 1972, in 1976 Joe decided he would buy the other 8 acres from his brothers. Joe purchased these lots and decided he wanted his two sons to have this property at his death, his will stated this. 1984 Joe died, Martha immediately went to court and got judgement for her to take all the land including lots purchased in 1976 left to his sons, In 2005 the son found out there was a will leaving him all real and personal property. These lots still deeded in his dad's name, does he have any legal course to get the land his dad left him. The will and lot deeds not included in 1984 judgement, because son did not know he had written will in 1976 and recorded in Wake Court House. Joe was illiterate, he stated to any and everyone that he never signed nothing but Will .

I have been in coffee shops and on several occasions observed members of the police force getting coffee and other things for free. Is their a logical explanation for this? I respect them and the job that they do, but I don't think they deserve that kind of special treatment.

I asked this question once before and some genders chooses what another gender should beable to wear on their feet while driving for whatever reason as strange as that may sound. If you had the final say so, would you allow driving barefoot to be legal? And if so, do you have a preference to which gender can or can't?

to protect yourself you could loose your life as you know it because you would go to jail.the law does not protect us,the government does not protect us.if they did there would not be gangs.you take up arms and defend yourself you go to jail for takeing the law in your own hands.then in the eyes of people that think the law protects them will call you a killer when all you want to do is protect your way of life.if you can`t understand what i`m saying i`m sory.

Vehicle 1 was attempting to make a left turn at Street A onto B. Her view was obstructed by trees and bushes disabling her view to her left. There is no mirror to view the traffic from the leftside but there is a stop sign. She came to a stop and looked both ways and entered the intersection and was struck by vehicle 2. 2 was traveling on B and hit the horn and turned to avoid 1 striking it.

employee 1 has been widowed for almost ten years and has never dated after her husband's death. her BOSS pursues her and asks her out. they carried on a 'secret' relationship for almost 3 years. she has never told anyone because she wanted to protect him--afterall he's the boss. after years of it being okay being secretive he decides to call it off because all of the sudden he says he wants a more open relationship. come to find out he's dating employee 2 within the same work group. employee 1 is doing her best to deal with the situation, but is being harassed by employee 2 and other employees by flaunting the employee 2 and boss relationship in front of her. adding the salt to the wounds has caused her to seek medical attention from all the stress at work (weight loss, anxiety, panic attacks, depression). employee 1 finally broke down and told the boss' boss and now he's fired. she is afraid she'll get fired too. is that grounds for termination?

Dont you think its a little bit hippicritical of the US government to let illegal immigrants from mexico stay here just because they are paying them less than average people and are making money off of their work. Dont you think that if a government made a law that says immigrants cant enter here illegally they should abide by it?

I'm 21 years old and have no prior criminal history, I have a clean record until now. I'm scared and I know what i did was WRONG and i really regret it. I know this will stay on my record forever. Im just scared because I was given a citation to appear in court next month, I still live at home with my parents, I'm a fulltime student and have NO job. I afraid I wont have enough money to pay for the fine. Plus i dont know if i should get a lawyer, anyways I cant afford that either. Basically since I'm an adult I should know better than a minor, I'm scared that I might get arrested on my court date. The thing i stole was under $100. Has this happened to anyone, if so what happened? how much was the fine and/or other cost. Do you think the judge will arrest me for this knowing that i have a clean record. Do you think I will have a good chance without a lawyer to represent me. Will my fine be under $ 500. Thanks 2 all for the advice.

Against:
- not shown to serve as a deterrent against crime
- is irrevocable, so what if you execute an innocent?

For:
- where there is undisputable evidence that someone is guilty of horrible crimes, is it healthy that society as a whole should be sacrificing resources to keep the criminal in jail for decades, when clearly that money could be better used to develop the said society (the same money could probably schools a dozen children till college)?

It would seem unlikely to me that any judge would go against their own state, that is like robbing your boss to give the money to someone else. Also, if you are attempting to sue the state prosecutor, legally are you trying to sue just that person or instead the state itself?
