We were working for a builder in a different state installing steel stairs for each new building going up there are eight buildings total. Unfortunately the builder was not very happy with the time it took for us to fabricate the stairs and have them delivered and installed by us. They did tell us that they are going to find another company to complete the final three buildings because it was more convenient to have a local company work for them. Here’s the problem; they are not paying us for the work that we did complete. In total we finished close to $90,000.00 worth of work that is owed to us. No one from their company will return our calls, and when we do get someone they say a check is on the way. Its has been over 4 months since we received a payment from them. What are our options in getting our money? They are rental buildings so I’m not sure if we can put a lien on the property. Any advice would help out.

I woke up this morning to find this girl sleeping next to me. I remember I picked her up at the bar yesterday, but she was still here. So I turned around and pushed her with my feet off the bed, then she woke up asking what had happen. I told her that Sleazy don't let females sleep over and she had to leave. Now I got a call from her lawyer saying I'm gonna be sued for sexual harrasment. Is that possible? Good thing I video taped what happen that night, it was consensual.

The officail Power of attorney was made in saudi arabia and send to India.But the advocates/Notary people and even the Government Officers in land purchase-sell section say that my father cannot sell the land whih is registered on my name,although I have appointed him as my official Attorney.They all say that I have to be personally present for the sell.
I urgently need to sell the land so that I can finance the downpayment for my new house in India.Kindly guide as I cannot go to India personally for the next 6 months on account of my present Contact.Thanks.

I posted payment or an item at least 3 days before it was due, the finance company now say they didnt get the payment untill 8 days after it was due and now want over £400 in late payment costs from me. What rights do i have against this company as i feel it is completely unfair as i sent the payment. The total amount due was only £628. They did not send any information stating that the payment was late as I could have tried to do something about it before the chargs reached a stupid amount.

I have a emergency restraining order against my husband that expires tomorrow. I have filed a domestic violence order today, however it will not go to the judge until Mon-Tues. Can my husband come and remove vehicles or property within the few days there is no order. He has already drained all the bank accounts and I have no income, he was the sole provider. I need my vehicle to seek employment, however I am not a registered owner, he is. Does anyone know the California Law on this. Can I get an extension on the EPO until the other one is granted?

I was going back home, and on the road near to my house there's a merge lane between the two roads, so there was a car in the middle triyng to get in to the road to the right side, they were driving too slow less than 5 miles per hour so i check ahead to make sure that it was safe for me to merge in that lane, so i speed up a little bit and theres was a huge space for me to get in, so i did it, but i had to stop cause i had to turn to the left side but i could not do it ,because there were too many cars caming so it was unsafe to do it, that's when i stop, so i got hit by the car that it was al ready inside the lane, now they said is my fault, cause they said i just cut off, but that's no true, and im getting so frustared about that situation cause their insurance does not want to pay for the damages to my tahoe...i need some advice please...
