Yep, she used the oldest trick in the book. The best thing you can do is get a DNA test, wait until the baby is born and then make sure it is yours.
You can still have a career, and you can still marry someone else. However it is NOT this baby's fault that she is liar and you didn't have the good sense to use a condom. Keep that in mind and have the decency to make sure that YOUR child is raised properly.
You could also turn the tables on her, sue for custody of the kid, take it from her, and make HER pay you child support.
Get one of those "father's rights" attorneys and make her life miserable.

while i think she was absolutely wrong to lie like that, and I fear for a child born to such a slanted person, you have to take 50:50 responsibility here. you should get to know someone before you have sex with them, and if you seriously want a planned life, then you should be living by a plan. how much more would your life be screwed if she had given you death instead of life; eg. AIDS or Hepatitis, etc. maybe you should take true responsibility and raise the child yourself. document as much as possible how the pregnancy occurred etc. then go for custody. make her pay child support. it's a lot of work , but it seems you could do more for your child. at least you seem to have a slightly more refined system of morals than she. god bless and remember a child is only a blessing or a curse, depending on your point of view
a child should always be a blessing

Sorry, but you had sex with this woman, which means that you must take consequences for your actions. Even though it was horrible for her to lie about her hysterectomy, you have no right to demand that she have an abortion. Are you afraid that she will sue you for child support? At this point I suggest you hire a lawyer to defend your case. I am not a student of the law, but I suppose you might have grounds to argue you are not liable for this child because she deceived you in the first place. Also, you might have to request a paternity test because there is always he possibility that someone else could be the father. This is a very interesting question, but I would suggest you not have sex with women before marriage if you are concerned about impregnating them. There are alternatives to sex and maybe you should explore some of these options to prevent something like this from happening in the future.

To get a criminal expert to snort, ask your criminal expert this question. you haven't got any top to make a clinical determination for somebody else. You had a top to refuse to have intercourse with this lady. If she raped you, you're starting to be talked approximately as the law enforcement officers on her. You had a top to a vasectomy. You had a top to placed on a condom during intercourse. yet you haven't got a top to require a lady to have an abortion. look for suggestion out of your criminal expert approximately your rights and responsibilities as a discern.

Yep, if it's your baby, expect to pay child support for the next 18 years. The courts won't care what the reason is, they are there to look after the child. If she lied, it makes no difference. If you can afford a DNA test, do it, but only if you think it isn't your child. No one can be forced to get an abortion. Abortion rights is also the right NOT to have an abortion.

afterthought: there are no "laws" on this matter, only court precedent. and we see alot, that courts make bad decisions.

EVER HEAR OF ROWE v. WADE? This put an end to anyone making a decision for the woman who is pregnant except the woman who is pregnant. Not only can someone not force a woman to carry a child she doesn't want, but no one can force her to have an abortion either. Get your head out of your @$$ and accept it. Just think. Next, you get to pay child support for not taking necessary precautions. Don't dip your wick if the wax is too hot for ya! LOL

The courts have already handled these types of cases. You have no say in whether or not she decides to keep the baby. You are still responsible for it. Next time use a condom, there's more to worry about than just knocking someone up.

No. Freedom of choice means freedom of choice.
Because the government cannot force her to have or not have an abortion, the court doesn't have the authority to force her either.
You may be able to sue regarding the issue of child support, if you can prove fraudulent inducement. But even that's a longshot. To be sure, consult in lawyer who can research the laws of your state.

I don't think you can force her to get an abortion. You are going to have to just accept that you did it and do what you need to do as a man. If you didn't want a child you shouldn't have had sex.
