I feel it is similar but a person can be charged seperately of these two types of rebellion. If someone could please explain and differentiate the two in legal terms.

Thanks!

We're learning about checks and balances and i'm wondering who has the power to deny an appointed ambassador? We're doing something where you have to write out where it starts and then who it affects... for example... Who can impeach the president? Legislative branch can do that... so the answer would be... Legislative ----> Executive.. please, if you can... answer in that way! I would really appreciate it. thanks. :)

About a year ago at this time, I was involved in a car accident where I was turning left onto a 2lane road (stop signs, MY turn) and this girl was turning right onto the same road. She tried to beat me and get in my lane. She ran into my car. Long story short, her fault, no questions asked, even says so on the police report. I filed a report and claim with my insurance co. to get $$ to fix my car. I got the $$ and fixed my car. Well, I was trying to chance insurance co. the other day when I found out that apparently this lady called my ins. company claiming to be my 'mom' admitting fault to the accident. I was 19 at the time, and this was at MY college. So now, it's gone on my record as my fault. Now, I just faxed the insurance co. the report, and they are going to investiage because this girl committed serious fraud. What's going to happen from here on out, legal wise and prosecution wise for her?

Six years ago I was molested. I blocked it out of my memory for about three or four years, but everything came back in ninth grade and by then I beleived it was too late for me to do anything, so I kept it to myeslf. I just told my parents two days ago, and they say we will take this somewhere legally if I want to, but only with my permission. I think I want to but I want to know what the process will be.

This happened to at least seven other girls.

I was about ten when it happened.

His daughter is now about ten.

The other girls were between the ages of 5-12. They might not even remember.

He had pictures on his computer by this lady who would paint her daughter naked by the lake, he might have child porn on his computer. He is on the computer all the time when he is not at work.

What would happen if I decided to persue this legally? What would happen?

The reason why the U.S. Founding Fathers chose to write constitutional protections and rights into the Bill of Rights is to protect all people from an over-powering and over-reaching government. If it were not for the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Eighth Amendments, a mere accusation against a person would become a conviction.

I am of the opinion that I would rather see a guilty man go free if the government has not proven its case than to see an innocent man unfairly accused, prosecuted, and sentenced by a government with too much power.

And, yes, I am been victimzed by criminals and none of them have ever been sent to jail for their crime against me.

I still feel very strongly that the government needs to be reined in, because once people are under the yoke of an all-powerful government, it is virtually impossible to throw it off without extreme bloodshed or civil war.

I have a check I wrote out that I got a citation for in the state of Wisconsin. Can I just pay the fine and not appear in court? All it says on the citation is that an appearance is required, and I've had a speeding ticket before that has also said that but I never had to appear in court.

Man in court over woman's murder
Shirley Finlay
Shirley Finlay's body was found in a car park
A 49-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Shirley Finlay in Ballymena two months ago.

The partially-clothed body of the 24-year-old woman was found wrapped in a duvet in a car park on 19 September.

In court was Henrik Gorski, who has an address at Hill Street in Ballymena but is originally from Poland.

He has also been charged with raping another woman, indecently assaulting her and threatening to kill her. Mr Gorski spoke only to confirm his name.

He is accused of killing Miss Finlay between 17 and 20 September and attacking the other woman between 3 and 23 August and then again on 15 September.

A detective inspector told the court he had been interviewed 16 times and that he always denied the charges.

However, he said she believed she could connect him to the charges.

The accused was remanded in custody until 7 December.

it was his first real offense other than traffic violations. He has been charged with unlawful driving away of a automobile and driving on a suspended license ( 2nd offense). He didn't put up a fight or resist arrest. I was just wondering what the likelyhood would be of him getting probation?

LONDON (Reuters) - British National Party (BNP) leader Nick Griffin was cleared on Friday of charges of inciting racial hatred.

A jury at Leeds Crown Court had heard that Griffin told supporters Islam was a "wicked, vicious faith" that was turning the country into "a multi-racial hell-hole".

In a 2004 speech in Keighley, West Yorkshire -- secretly filmed by the BBC -- Griffin urged a crowd to

vote for his far-right party to help stop what he described as a campaign by Muslims to take over the country.
Griffin, 47, and BNP head of publicity Mark Collett, 26, were charged with using words or behaviour intended to incite racial hatred. Both had denied the charges.

Judge Norman Jones, the Recorder of Leeds, had stressed to the jury that it was not the BNP on trial, and that the alleged crime was racial, not religious, hatred.

"This is not about whether the views of the BNP are right or wrong," he said before the jury retired to consider its verdict on Thursday.

"This is not about whether assertions made about Islam are right or wrong, this case is about allegations of the commitment of a crime."

He told the jury stirring up racial hatred did not mean creating racial hatred, but inflaming or exciting it.

Griffin maintained throughout the trial that his comments were not racial, but were attacking religion, and were designed to stir his audience to political activity.

The judge said it was up to the jury to decide whether Griffin's comments were an attack on Islam or whether his words were carefully crafted using Islam as a cloak to stir up racism.

He said Griffin knew that his "less than sophisticated audience" would find the terms Asian and Muslim synonymous.

In February, Griffin and Collett were cleared of two other race hate charges arising out of the same BBC programme.

The BNP, which took over as the country's most prominent far-right party after breaking from the National Front in 1982, has 54 local authority seats, many in poorer areas with large multi-ethnic populations.

It might seem not, but part of the big thing that makes launch.yahoo.com legal is that there is revenue sharing, and that the media player does not let you play music on demand. This the same as what keeps pandora legal. On youtube however, you can get a video on demand, and no one makes money off of it.

My friend runs a car repair business in Ohio. In late February, a woman brought in her car that needed major engine work. After the engine work was completed the crank was found to be blown. The woman wanted them to fix it but they said she had to pay her first bill before they could continue or at least make a payment on all the parts. She than threw a fit and said that they screwed her over and that they were cheating her and left. She has not since paid her bill or taken any legal actions to get it back. It is November and still no legal actions. My friend does work for a used car dealership who wants to buy the car. In Ohio we have to send a certified letter which gives them a two week chance to argue the claim to seize the title. I want to know if the owner has any legal rights at this point. It is 8 months later and she has not paid the bill or taken any legal actions to get her car. Just wondering what to expect from the law stand point. Thanks

I gave my mother “Life Estate” at a property I own. She is now terminally I’ll and is under the care of a disgruntled sister of mine. I can not find out the status of my mother nor if did know would I be allowed to see her. My sister is probably under the assumption that she will take the house and property (new) when my mother passes. My mother was always scared to tell my sister that I owned the property and that the only thing she (my mother) had was “Life Estate”. My concern is that my mother has been living away from the property fro months now. By all indication she will not returning to the property. I spoke with some lawyers and all told me that it was my responsibility to protect my future interest.
