my brother who had a heart attack 18 days ago returned to work this week(silly),today his boss has sacked him for not being up to the job anymore even though his work has always been praised.

Depends on the nature of the work involved.Your Brother should seek legal advice as soon as possible. Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) can offer all the advice,free of charge.I wish him luck.

If he is a an employee over six months sue for unfair dismissal now he has a cast iron prima facie case see a lawyer today.

Tell your brother to contact his union a.s.a.p. I'm sure they are not allowed to do this!
