I was going back home, and on the road near to my house there's a merge lane between the two roads, so there was a car in the middle triyng to get in to the road to the right side, they were driving too slow less than 5 miles per hour so i check ahead to make sure that it was safe for me to merge in that lane, so i speed up a little bit and theres was a huge space for me to get in, so i did it, but i had to stop cause i had to turn to the left side but i could not do it ,because there were too many cars caming so it was unsafe to do it, that's when i stop, so i got hit by the car that it was al ready inside the lane, now they said is my fault, cause they said i just cut off, but that's no true, and im getting so frustared about that situation cause their insurance does not want to pay for the damages to my tahoe...i need some advice please...

The car that rear ended you has insurance. If it was considered by the cars insurance company that you had caused the accident by driving unlawfully or what ever it is reasonable to ask why the insurance company are not requiring you to pay for the damage to the car that rearended you I would be seeking advice from a solicitor it seems like they are bluffing you.

in Ontario if your rear ended in a car accident its the guy who hit you fault there is acceptations but they are pretty clear like you just slammed on your brakes with out reason in order to cause the accident .
even if your sitting at a red light with a car in front of you and some guy comes up and hits your car making your car run into the one in front your almost always charged for hitting the next guy .

it's true that in some states it is the fault of the person who gets rear-ended. it doesn't seem fair but i have encountered it before. good luck. but just remember this is not the end of the world. get your car fixed, move on. if it's not urgent damage, don't stress it. just get it fixed when you can. both cars should be taken to an appraiser, who can verify what happened by the damages that are on each care; make sure your insurance is involved as well. they should be looking out for you--because by doing that they are looking after themselves as well.

you shouldnt be at fault unless your rear tail lights werent working at the time, the car behind would have seen that you were merging into the lane, if in doubt ask the local police for advice

If you've been injured in an auto accident, call me-I'LL FIGHT FOR YOU!!!
If you have insurance, and the police report confirms that you got hit from behind, then don't worry about it-your insurance will take care of it
