Or do we have to receive these stupid letters about the removing of under god crap.The way I see it they broke the law putting it there to begin with.

Ive read all that.I thought maybe I was the only one who did judging by the amount of time I get the letters.Beside islam thinks it is the one nation under god.

You're right, they DID break the law by putting "under God" in there in the first place. But to keep myself from getting on my own personal rant about the subject, let me give you the URL to a place that gives an overview on the history of the Pledge, including where it came from.

Contrary to popular belief, it hasn't always "been there" and neither has that controversial little phrase.

The original pledge of allience did not have "under god" in it. It was added in the 40's, so the letter is not stupid, you are if you didn't know that.
