No one has to be embalmed in the US. Jewish people are generally not embalmed because Jewish law demands immediate burial (within 3 days of death).

I dont know, but I think it should be a personal right, to not have your corpse infused with formaldehyde prior to dropping you in the ground - No thanks!!
