I asked this question once before and some genders chooses what another gender should beable to wear on their feet while driving for whatever reason as strange as that may sound. If you had the final say so, would you allow driving barefoot to be legal? And if so, do you have a preference to which gender can or can't?

Contrary to what some may think, driving barefoot is not illegal. Some states like California have laws that prohibit you from wearing clothes that interfere with our ability to drive.

I see no logical reason to make a distinction between genders for the purposes of barefoot driving. Because of the possibility of glass and other dangers if you get in a car accident or if you have to pull over, driving barefoot isn't always the best idea. However, it does not really impact safe driving and thus I am not inclined to change any laws regarding this topic.

I know what you mean, I let my women drive but I only give her enough petrol for the 2miles to the shop and back. Sometimes I even let her walk beside me instead of 20 paces behind. but only after 8:30 pm. You knuckle dragging dick less pleb. were in the east are you from. East of the dinosaurs. Lesson :::men and women are both sides of the same coin. like the balance of yin & yang inseperable. A man is only as good as the women that stands beside him. And vice versa one can not egsist without the other, dependant. The sooner the whole world realises this, the battle for world peace is half won. Here in the west women of the east are involved in a lot more western indulgances than driving my friend. so naughty, trust me.

Give me ONE good reason why should driving barefoot be made illegal?
What? Not one?
Then the laws is unconstitutional as not passing Rational basis review[1]

I think it's ok to drive barefoot if one needs to.
Like, it would be better to drive barefoot than to wear a pair of slippery heels.

I would allow it to be legal for both sexes. You can feel the pedals better when you're barefoot.

What in hell does gender have to do with safe driving guidelines? Are you from another planet? At the speed that vehicles travel nowadays, it is essential that a driver can brake as hard as possible to avoid an accident, which he/she cannot do barefoot.

It's not illegal to drive barefoot. That's an urban legend.

Ive noticed that driving with flip-flops is dangerous (I wear them daily).....more so than bare footed......the sides of flip-flops get caught on the brake and gas peddles....so barefoot driving is safer....so I vote yes to bare foot and no to flip-flops.........lol

Yes, of course. What would be the point of a law like that?
