As you can see by all the A$$ holes with their opinions, instead of answers, you have not chosen an easy road. My husband has been in federal prison for 26 years, however, so I wish you the best. You will have a very strong marriage if you can survive his incarceration. It will test you and your family beyond anything most marriages have to deal with.
Anna M. gave you the best advice. However, some institutions are run more professionally than others. Some will simply not respond to your request. So I would also advise to check with the state laws and county requirements, too, like blood tests, waiting periods, and so forth. You can find all that information with a little searching on the internet for county offices. I also found that calling the county offices yielded correct information for your circumstances, as they are usually familiar with those procedures in small prison towns.
At least he's in State. Federal is awful. I know of several couples who have waited over a year, with one woman traveling 600 miles each time to get renewed blood tests and licenses because of bureaucratic bull. But she stuck with it. So good luck to both of you.

I don't know if Nevada does but many states do allow marriage inside prison. Simply call the Prison Chaplain and ask if they do marry in prison, he should mail you a marriage packet.
HIGH DESERT STATE PRISON
P.O. Box 650, Indian Springs, Nevada 89070-0650
22010 Cold Creek Road; Indian Springs, Nevada 89070
(702) 879-6789
If this is the right one...........security levels may offer different locations.

Yes, that is possible. It depends on th
e prison and State. Every state has different rules about it. I know people that got married in prison and Jail , but like, I think in Wisconsin that was stopped a number of years ago. Don't quote me on that though. You'll have to call the particular prison and inquire about it. It's just that simple. They will answer your calls. I hope I've helped you girl. Bye and good luck.

Yes, it is possible for a non-prisoner to marry a prisoner.
Consult with the head of the correctional facility to learn the details.

Yes, it is possible to marry someone in prison, but it is all depends on the seriousness of the crime of the prisoner.Felons with minor crimes get that rights.

If you are that desperate that you want to marry such a low-life, ask someone in charge at the prison. I just hope that if they don't have conjugal visits, because who would support the criminal's kid if you got pregnant.
And to add to what the person above me said, he'll probably want to take the "back door" when he gets out, since that is what he will be used to.
