if someone hits your car with the back end of their semi and your insurance company goes after them for a claim and they hide from your insurance company does that make them look guilty? i dont really know whats going on but i got another letter saying they are suing them and that my insurance companys lawyer will call me if they need me. would this hurt his case at all?

I am sick and tired of morons talking loud, very loud in places where I go to relax, read a book, get a cup of coffee, etc... Do you think something should be done about it?

Why do you think that is (illegal or not)?

If you’re going to reply with “this is a stupid question,” then don’t answer. I will report you

Me and two guys lived in the same apartment last year until this August. (We're in college.) I have already fulfilled by legal obligations on the lease, the landlord has said that already. But the landlord said he hasn't received the parking pass (he says it's worth $600) from one of my other roommates. Just one, the other has legally fulfilled his obligations too. Now the landlord is saying he won't release our deposit (individually worth $750) until the parking passes are returned. Can the landlord do that? Withhold security deposit for all of us just because of one roommate?

FYI, all three of us signed one lease, three different signatures on one paper. Only ONE parking spot, one pass, and since the two of us didn't have a car, the third roommate (the one who lost the pass, according the landlord) had it. $600 seems very arbitrary to me....

Relating to the previous topic (son was pedestrian and hit by car)... the person driving is covered by CUNA Mutual, a insurance company provided to employees and members of Credit Unions.
Well I called them today because the person driving hasn't contacted my lawyer back with her information, so I called CUNA to ask if they even have a policy with her and they said that if she does, she wouldn't have liability coverage. It would be considered Collatoral Damage Protection (or some thing like that). WTF is that about?
Do they think their members and employees are better than everyone else?
My son is severely injured physically and emotionally and they aren't going to do nothing about it?

Please if anyone knows about this company or goes through a company like this, explain to me wtf is going on??

Did they try the old saw that "If you aren't doing anything illegal, then you have nothing to worry about our eavesdropping."?

Where have I heard that line of reasoning before? Somehow it all seems familiar.

I have a CCW, which is a misdemeanor 1. If they find me guilty, I've been told that I will have to go back to get a "sentence". My question is during the court date that I receive my "sentence" if they decide I should be in jail, will I be arrested then? If not, how does it work?

George Washington: If I could have entertained the slightest apprehension that the constitution framed by the Convention . . . might possibly endanger the religious rights of any ecclesiastical society, certainly I would never have placed my signature to it.

John Adams: The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity

Thomas Jefferson:God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift of God? That they are not to violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever." - "Yes, we did produce a near perfect Republic. But will they keep it, or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the surest way to destruction.
