We are now told that Molly Campbell, the girl who 'was abducted to Pakistan for an arranged marriage' by daddy (so said mummy) really left of her own free will. The girl, now called Misbah Iram Ahmed Rana accused her mother of the 'abduction' insofar as she would not let Molly have contact with relatives in Pakistan.
Of course, we all will say that at 12 years old, wee bairns don't know any better...but once again the British press (The Times top of the list) thought adding the usual ingredients to spice up and basically stir up whatever politics are involved would have us all mistrusting 'Pakis', or any other group who attends Mosques even more than we ever did. Was told on Radio 4 this morning the police also had a hand in it, quietly passing information to certain parts of the media. They have always done this...but in the situation we are in now, are they not the last people who should pander to right-wing papers, as it eventually makes their job harder?

All charges include:
**Marijuana with intent under 1LB
**pills not in proper container (although I have a prescription for all) It was 2differnet types of lithium in 1 container
**cracked wid shield ( I was a passenger)
**licesnse plate light being out ( again I was a passenger)

I think they will drop everything (as they should anyways) but keep the posession with intent charge....what do you think? Any advice from ANYONE ESPECIALLY Prosecutors will be helpfull!! Would they consider lowering the drug charge too since the others should be dropped especially the vehicle violations!! I have a very pricey atorney but can't afford him anymore if we go to trial, also what if you have a previous felony also drug related about 7 years ago. Should I go to trial since many of these charges should be dropped anyways!!

I live in the US. If I order something from Europe, then will it show up at my door or will I have to pick it up from the post office? I will probably be using DHL.

Ok,so my gf's parents are really being ridiculous about this....She wants to move out but they will just not allow it...She's almost 19 years old and is miserable,I'd say she's being neglected Emotionally as well....Is there any way I can get a lawyer to grant her to move out without any intrusion by her parents...It seems this is the only way It can happen...I was thinking sort of a 'court ordered, restraining order'....thanks.

about 15 years ago the politicians discovered Womens Issues and to get their votes we have this incredible collection of 'don't do this' laws. best example is MAD (great idea to get drunks off the road !) but not enough votes in taking the real problems off the road so they targeted social drinkers and now are issueing statements against ALL drinking ( proabition is coming back ? ) and THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT BECAUSE YOU CAN"T BE PRO DRUNKEN DRIVER !!!! politics and mommies are a bad mix !

I'm 28 years old, live with my dad, and I might get fired for refusing to work on Sundays, even though on my application I stated I can't work on Sundays right there in writing and they're making me anyways now. I've been at the company for 12 years.

My neighbor is having problems with her 8 year old's school. She's in 3rd grade and has attended the school since kindergarten. Need legal advice PLEASE! WHat can be done?? Here's the background info:
1st grade: child comes home with lice. She is an only child and has contact with other children only at school. My neighbor treated her child and then notified the school so others could be checked too.. The next day the child goes to school. The school nurse checks out her hair and finds a lice egg. The nurse FREAKS out and calls my neighbor at work, basically saying she was a bad mother. The child's grandmother gets involved and almost brings the nurse to tears for embarrassing the child in front of her classmates. The nurse apologies..
2nd grade: Child is bullied relentless by 3 girls who "gang" up on her and keep others from being her friend. She is basically isolated from her classmates. My neighbor informs the principal and the teacher.
