This is just something to ponder and give you say on. But think about it seriously. People are always say how bad war is and why can't people just get along. Everybody be Good. Right? Well the way I see it war is Good against evil. We started this war because evil was done to our Good country. Well you can't have a good without an evil right? So you'll always have war because you will always have Good and evil. You can't put them together but yet you can't have one without the other. See what i'm saying.

Obviously some laws are in effect 24/7, such as prohibitions on murder (which can only be overcome with an affirmative defense).

And since a traffic law (stop sign) only has the authority to command you to stop when you are in its proximity.

We also know that many things which are illegal in public are not illegal on private property because the law does not reach there (i. e. drunkedness). Also, things like the fact that you do not need a driver's license to operate a motor vehicle on your own property.

So do traffic laws in public shopping centers have any criminal penalties (i'm talking criminal and not tort resulting from a failure to obey the signs) attached to them?

If I blow the stop sign on the provate property that is the local grocery store parking lot can I be ticketed?

Hi, I bought a £10,000 2nd hand car off a dealership, the car was at another branch so I went by the vehicle details flyer they had. (Bad, bad move!)This stated the car had a FSH and only 1 previous owner. I now discover it has 2 previous owners and an incomplete service history. The dealer is refusing to refund because there is a caveat (in point 4 font!). that states that accuracy is not guaranteed and to ask the sales person for definitive details. Since the sales person only had the same details that she gave me this doesn't change much! As I see it they have contravened SOGA and broken the law. So, my question is what is the best way to approach this?

to the general requirement for a warrant to search private property. This exception exists because an auto, unlike a house, can be moved out of reach of the law fairly easily.
The courts have long said that when a vehicle is stopped for a legal reason, the police can search the area within arm’s range of the driver without a warrant, provided there is probable cause and not just a hunch that further wrongdoing is suspected (for example, that drugs are involved) or if the driver is arrested so that the search is incident to a lawful arrest. , the trunk could not be searched under the circumstances unless the officers were given express permission.
