The city I live in has passed a law saying that pit bulls are illegal. They gave everybody in the city a month to turn over their pit bulls to the animal control, otherwise if they find you in possession of one, they'll fine you, and you may get put in jail, and the dog will be put to sleep anyway. I don't want to give up my dog, he means too much to me. Other than moving, which I don't have the ability to do, do I have any rights? What can I do, if anything?

Back in the day where the man worked and the wife stayed home, people could afford a home and a car without having the wife work. Now with women working, there is an increase workforce which means lower pay per person because it has to be dividied evenly.

Do you agree with that statement, and what do you think about this?

I realize that zoning laws vary from municipality to municipality, but I'm just curious about what they usually say about people coming to your home to do services for you. For example, home physical therapy, massage, that kind of thing. Do zoning regulations generally have anything to say about what kind of services you receive in your home?

I have found out that I have to pay a full month's rent on my new apartment, even though I moved in two weeks into the month. The leasor calls this a "prorate". This was never explained before the contract was signed. Is this legal? Is the contract still valid?

Do you think she was right to beg for time with Bush twice when countless other parents have had children die in Iraq? Is it right in the first place to complain about something that your child knew was dangerous when they are injured or killed? I'm not a Bush supporter ,but her story seems ridiculous to me, There's no doubt it was sad ,but I don't see where her rights are in play here.

Is there a legal way to keep a father from seeing the baby? He left when I was 4 months pregnant and only asks about her when he isn't busy. I am now going to court for support, but really don't want him to see her. He is into drugs and other things. When we were together he said he had stopped all of it and it was all a lie. Now I need to know how to stop him form visitation!

Cartoon characters say fathers are "losers." Most media including print have males as incompetent, dangerous & criminals.

What is the political reason for this? Why don't women, who consider themselves ethically superior, object to this? Why doesn't our government censure this?

I'm a web developer and I have a question about how copyright works with regards to raw information. For example, I noticed on boxofficemojo.com, they claim to have copyright on the box office data they provide. But aren't box office receipts just factual data? I understand that their website is copyrightable, but how can the actual data be copyrightable? Does this mean I need their permission to post "'Invincible' earned $17 million this weekend" on my website? If anyone knows anything about copyright law, your input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have voted Democratic in every election since 1960. I have supported every entitlement program. As a manager at a big box retailer I hire all races equally. But when I tell my lazy African-American friend to get a job and start paying the child support he owes so the courts stop hounding him he calls me a biggot.

again if I wanted to. Im talking about misdemenors that are still on your record . I have a record from 1983 and it stops me from getting jobs, apartments etc. If you are young please don't get a record of any sort it will mess up your life forever and I mean forever, even if you get your record sponged it still is visible by whoever wants to check it.
