Cartoon characters say fathers are "losers." Most media including print have males as incompetent, dangerous & criminals.
What is the political reason for this? Why don't women, who consider themselves ethically superior, object to this? Why doesn't our government censure this?

Family Court is prejudiced & our corrupt
Child Support system double bills every divorced father. How can fairness in the legal system, towards males be expected in this atmosphere?

Interesting sidenote, why do Beta males
strongly object when other males point this out? Especially since guys talk about this offline?

I thought the responses were going to be interesting for this topic and I was right. You have your answer in al of the responses above mine. The political reason for it is because we allow it to happen. It is not a liberal thing (there are always a lot of things blamed on the liberals, and the conservatives are just as guilty if not moreso). Any males who speak up against this, are ridiculed, and told they are not men (also the reason you will not see too many men's shelters spring up in our neighborhoods), and if you noticed the post of one person aobve, all of the people he or she mentioned are rich, powerful, and in the public eye. But what about the everyday joe, who has done nothing wrong, not rich but making an honest living, trying to take care of his family, and gets knocked down at every turn, but he holds his head up and presses on. Sounds like a better role model to me than someone who is famous and cheating on his wife. I will say on the other hand, that back in the 40's through the 60's, women in the media had their stupid moments, so we can't go completely bonkers over what we see in the media, but there has to be something done. They may be upset with you and make light of you for bringing this up, but we hold up the criminal, the women go for the thug, or the bad boy, and any repsectable man is pushed to the wayside. The media makes it seem as though men all over are beating the hell out of their women, while there are studies out there that show that the percentage of abuse by women against men is closer to 40%, but you will never see that statistic, because our news shows, and talk shows (I have tried to find a way to send this idea to Montel Williams) don't have the balls or are not man enough to research this and put it on their shows. As if what happened to that Hartman guy when his wife shot him and killed herself wasn't signal enough. But man, take heart. There actually are women out there that DO feel the same way you do.
you can find them on some of the websites listed below.

The government has no right to censor this. Whether or not you agree with something, you should NEVER request the government start censoring things! That sets a very dangerous precedent!
If you don't agree with the viewpoints or suggestions set forth by a particular show, don't watch it and encourage everyone who shares your point of view to boycott it to. Write to the companies who advertize during those shows and explain why you are not watching, how you feel and how many people share your opinion. If enough people share your point of view, the sponsors will stop spending their money for ad time during that show and the show will get yanked or at least re-written. Look at all the controversy surrounding the upcoming series of "Survivor." Big sponsors like GM have already pulled out, their ratings are sure to be low, and it's probably going to be this issue that kills this series forever.

Not the "poor men" gambit! Wah Wah Wah.
There are plenty of positive male images in the media, people like Donald Trump and countless other successful male celeb reties are worshiped -- "dynamic CEO's", "courageous politicians", male athletes, etc. The incompetents and the criminals get there share of the press and the majority of criminals are male, ya know.
Men control the government, the media, the police, the banks the corporations, the utilities, etc. How many freakin' male "talking heads" have there shows on Radio and TV?
You want the government to censure the media to protect the poor little males. You need the government to protect you from a little ribbing in cartoons and situation comedies? One would think a real man could handle this without running to the government for protection. Tough guy eh?
You have issues, dude.

Because most of those things come from the minds of men. They don't want to look like they can't laugh at themselves and their faults. . .
Someone needs a happy pill.
Lighten up. Laugh a little, and enjoy life. It is too short to worry about such trivial things. . .

The liberal media (and liberals in general) feel that the only way to help a group that has been discriminated against (in this case women) is to blindly discriminate against the other pole. They do it automatically in a knee-jerk fashion.
Ignore it or find ways to yank their chain and make it amusing if you can.
