I know you do in Texas, but how does that transfer across state lines? Does interstate commerce law come into play? And what precedent gives Alabama the authority to make these decisions about another state?

I'd like to record my neighbors obnoxious dog, then play it back on a loop very loud when she's home. I don't see a problem since it would in fact be her dog. The dog only barks when she leaves but it is constant.

this is the mark of the evil one and we all need to stand together and pray that this evil passes us by or else loose our freedoms for good! this real id act will not protect us from terorism and violates federal and state laws not to mention the universal declaration of human rights of the united nations!

I am a college Student from Kentucky. Me and My girlfriend had a baby while we we both started college. We decided to wait until we had jobs and could afford to live together, until we got married. The baby stayed with her and her parents, so my parents told me If we got married and moved near them, that they would give us money to live on until we graduated and buy us a house. So, we decided to do that, and we got married, and moved in, and we both still went to college.

My parents realised that this was costing them to much money, and now they want to kick us out of the house, so that they can rent it, and make money, and they also decided to quit giving us money. This puts a big burdon on me and my wife since we are both in college.

Me, My wife and baby have no income, and no place to live, and we were wondering if we had any legal rights?

A lot of people already signed up. They agreed to the previous "terms of use". Can I unilaterally change them?

If North Korea "liberated" america or britain would no one pick up arms to fight them because that would make them terrorists.

Such as you are at the grocery store, you find an unattended cart full of stuff you needed (or wanted) to buy (NO personal items are in it), there is an announcement over the PA system "Attention customers, please check to see if you have the right cart, if it is not your cart please bring it to customer service, thank you"
you decide to take the cart directly to the check out, pay for it, get help out to your car, tip the kid that helped you and leave, did you commit a crime?

I can't remember who it was that said "If you're an idiot and you have kids, that counts as child abuse"

This question is mostly inspired by that Dilbert strip where Dogbert makes some random couple take a test for a "Parent Licence."

I'm not suggesting that we try to reduce the population of idiots, they have the same right to live as anyone else, but should we really subject children to an inferior upbringing. If, say a couple can be shown beforehand to lack the basic intelligence to raise a well-adjusted child, should we just allow them to raise a thug or a hooligan?

Okay, I'm the lawyer for the hospital for this case in one of my classes... I think I already know the outcome of it because of a similar case but I need help with the technacalities. Please, this is a major grade!
Okay. So it's a case of a 15 year old boy who is facing a third liver transplant operation. Joe was born jaundiced with an enlarged liver and spleen. Dr. Jane performed Joe's first liver transplant in 1897 when Joe was 8. After the 1st transplant failed, she did a second liver transplant operation in June 1992. He was given immunosupressant drugs-- FK506-- and he suffered irritability and depression.
So he began cutting back on the drugs and stopped it altogether. His mom was reported for child abuse and he was rushed to the hospital. He refused to give blood or submit to examinations and checks for vital signs.
So I have to be the person who wants him to continue his meds... any help appreciated!
