A crime will remain a crime irrespective of where it is comiited. Your illegal act does not becomes legal merely because you are doing it in privacy.

It is illegal to serve alcohol to minors in US. so there is no doubt about it that you if you serve them the liquor, you have committed a crime.

However, there are certain exceptions to this. Many medicines contains alcohol in it, within the prescribed limit. So if you are giving your babies those medicines which contains some amount of alcohol on a doctor's prescription then it will not be a crime.

Having worked in the restaurant and bar industry in college, and with certification by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, it is LEGAL in the state of Texas (and in AZ) for a parent or legal guardian to serve alcohol to a minor child.

Note that this does NOT include friends, or friends of the child. However, if the amount is deemed as excessive, the parent can still be charged with harm to a minor.

It's illegal. Haven't you heard of the cases where the adults who allowed alcohol to be served to minors in the privacy of their own home being sued and charged b/c something happened to those minors after they left their house? Anyway, why would you want to give alcohol to a minor in the first place?

It is illegal to serve alcohol to minors in the privacy of your own home. There are no conditions that are legal to give alcohol to a minor. There are times that are seeminly acceptable (like a sip of champagne on New Years Eve, etc...), but it is always illegal.

It's illegal. It's called contributing to the delinquency of a minor. But it's also one of those things that is more a matter of amount and intention then just cut and dried yes or no.
