How fair are they in working with their independent Contractors

I didn't know the government had farmed out postal work, but this makes sense given the ideology that the government should do almost nothing except national defense. If the independent contractor was a big republican contributor or crony, they would be fairly treated.

Fair is a relative term. To be quite realistic like any corporation unless you have a really good contract to start with you will be taken advantage of. Unless you have some specialized knowledge in this area beware.

The do open bidding for contractors who do home mail delivery and with the trucking firms that do over the road trucking for them.
