If you were a passenger why did you get out and let them search you? When I'm a passenger I tell them to get a warrant or kiss my a** I'm not getting out of the car. Oh yeah I forgot we turned this country into the Soviet Union right after 9/11...you don't have any rights anymore. Plead not guilty and request a lawyer...good luck. Depending on how much weed you had and where you live it could be a felony.

I can't help you with the legal question. I just want to encourage you to take this problem as your wake up call.

If you are on lithium, it is safe to say you suffer from bi-polar disorder. You need to stay faithful to your meds and stay away from drugs.

Also, some counseling is helpful, although bi-polar usually responds to meds alone better than any other mental illness. Counseling can be helpful in learning how to clean up the messes you may have caused while in the grip of mania, and how to remain vigilant to signs of relapse.

I wish you the best.
