My neighbor thinks it is OK for her friend to hang out here and i dont agree he is a level 2 sex offender i have 3 small boys and to top it all off his friend is gay. I have no problem with gay s but i do have a problem with a sex offender . What do I do?

your neighbor should have a right to invite people to his house... why don't you just make sure your boys are not going over there?
i don't mean to be blunt, but why should everything be childproofed when many people have no children? isn't it enough that you know of this person and can take appropriate steps?
look, i am serious about this... this country is for all of us, not just the children. if your neighbor has kids, SHE is responsible for their welfare, just as YOU are responsible for your own children. this man bears the mark of cain. i find the practice of marking people for life abhorrent because it invites this sort of harrassment and i don't know that our justice system is that accurate. please don't torture this person, but do what you feel is necessary, i understand your fear.

Of course a level 2 sex offender CAN be around children. The question is SHOULD they be? The obvious answer is NO! Keep your eye on your kids, don't let them play with the neighbor's kids...EVER. Break off all contact with your neighbor. And be always vigilant and prepared. Put up a fence if necessary, do anything you have to do to prevent contact with your neighbor.

your neighbor is crazy!! i would call the police department and see maybe if he has broken any of his parole or probation requirements, he needs to be behind bars.
