No, it's not illegal. Most people at your age are babysitting other children. Perhaps your parents feel you cannot be trusted?

It is probably not illegal, but, if something happens (fire, the year old being abducted, molested,etc., you are setting yourself up for big trouble.) The 13 year old gets hurt while in the house alone, etc.

Probably. Why would you do it? A 13 year old is not mature enough to be left alone for a day or so. The 'or so' is especially scary.

In no state is it OK to leave a 13 yr. at home alone.Not even over night.They are not mature enough to handle the responsibility.

I THINK SO .IF NOT IT SHOULD BE.OR AT THE LEAST SOMEONE SHOULD BE AT THE HOME TO TAKE CARE OF THE YOUNGSTER AND BE RESONSIBLE FOR HIM OR HER.ESPECIALLY THIS DAY AND AGE.ALL THE PROBLEMS STEM FROM THE "TIME -OUTS "THAT DO NOTHING TO HELP THE CHILDREN BE RESPONSIBLE.THEY RESPECT NO ONE AS THEY KNOW THEY CAN NO LONGER BE SPANKED(I DID SAY SPANK!!)SPANKING DID NOT HURT ME ONE BIT !!! I dont think it is Illegal but i do think it is up to the parent to decide. If your a RESPONSIBLE teen then you should be fine:)
