I do think that restaraunts should be a little more responsible in using transfats, but isn't it really up to you? Isn't it YOUR RIGHT to decide to eat healthy or not?

I have a friend who was a military brat, born while her dad was stationed in Taiwan. She's a US citizen. Her passport has expired and she says her birth certificate is almost unreadable (not sure if she washed it or what, I didn't ask). She wants to get a passport but they probably wouldn't accept her birth certificate in the shape it's in. She's not sure of what process she'd have to go through to get a new birth certificate since she was born in Taiwan. She said her dad has one of her passports that expired a long time ago.

Any ideas on how she'd get a new passport?

He was arrested while I was away out of state. They held him for 4 days stating he did not pay a fine(in wich he did and even had the receipt on him) Monday when he was able to see the Judge he was release with many apologies. The city even was kind enough to wrtite him a letter to apologize again. But this ordeal tramatized my mentally challenged son so much. Do I need a lawyer to sue or can this case be handled in small claims?

My neighbor seems to be in big debt so he gave my phone number to law offices and collection agencies. Now I’m receiving calls when they are looking for him. Is this some kind of ID theft and what I should do to stop it.

Can someone explain what "unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, and unlawful possession of unscheduled drugs" means? The drug this person was caught with was cocaine, 100 grams, so why would one be a scheduled drug and one unscheduled? This crime was commited in Maine so it falls under their laws, but if anyone has an estimated sentence i would love to here it. Despite the fact that this person was caught about 2 years ago with 8 bags of heroine, i belive that they only got probation so i think this will be considered a first offence.

my son told a white lie to have a long weekend with his family-his, and booked 2 days annual leave, the boss who is also the owner of the company was constantly ringing him during that time but my son didn't respond. when he returned to work his boss had obviously been checking on my son's story and wanted my son to sign a statement admitting to this, my son refused. my son has also asked for 2 day annual at bank holiday but the boss has refused again saying that noone else is as experienced as him at that time although this is rubbish. | think he is waiting for my son to walk out.

I don't care if it's the morning after pill or an anti-biotic.

A minor is not responsible enough to know enough about their allergies to medication and how to tell if they are having a reaction which by then may be too late.

In my opinion the adult that they live with should always be aware of any prescription medication that they are taking.
