My car was parked in front of the resident. Another car crashed it in the wee hours of the morning and totaled it. Their car was disabled and they walked away from the scene before the police came. The police towed the car away.
. I had only liability.My insurance company said they couldn't do anything for me.
. There were 2 men in the car and the driver was a man but the car was registered to a woman as per the police report.The police said they sent a certified letter to the registered owner but no response..

Answer yes or no and add any comment, the best comment wins. Bonus question: do you know all the US ammendments.
Be honest don't research before saying YES. There are some folks offering a million dollars to whoever finds such Income Tax law, if you can also mention who are these guys then it will definetly be a plus.

The laws we require to coexist peacefully are finite in number. So why do we have a bunch of grossly over-paid, self-justifying demagogues still meeting every year to make MORE laws? This would imply the laws we need are infinite, which is preposterous.

How many laws can you enact before the system collapses under the sheer weight of infinite lawmaking?

The state is AZ; I have a court judgment against someone and this person refuse to pay me. I had sent a constable to her property and I also place a lien against her house. I got a letter from her attorney saying that I can’t place a lien on someone homestead –this is the only house she owns and I should remove the lien its illegal and I can be fine $5,000. I talked with the constable his answer was he thinks that the lawyer tries to blow some air but he is not attorney. I had looked up and I had found this link;

http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/33/01101.htm&Title=33&DocType=ARS

I understand from this link that I can if the property is more than $150,000 I can’t have a lien on the first $150,000 I do not try to take the house I just want her to pay me the money when she sells the house. Can someone help me?

It would seem that abortion as well as gay rights conflict with the freedom of choice as most understand it . I just put out there for reasoning . If the rights are denied on only one person this would be the same thing as repression of a persons beleif .

Racial profiling, name calling by conservative talk show hosts, do people not realize the absolute hate and ugliness they are promoting? I used to think we were getting close to equality for all, now I realize that we are moving farther from it than ever before.

here is what an article says about it: Denver became the first city in the nation to make the private use of marijuana legal for adults 21 and older as an alternative to alcohol, a far more harmful drug. By 10.45 p.m. Tuesday night, with 100% of the votes tallied, the Alcohol-Marijuana Equalization Initiative had passed 53.49% YES to 46.51% NO. The Alcohol-Marijuana Equalization Initiative is the first local measure in the nation to draw a comparison between the harms of alcohol and marijuana. The successful I-100 campaign focused on the vast number of health, safety and social problems associated with alcohol use, promoting marijuana use to avoid the prevalence of such problems. The campaign pointed to government reports and scholarly studies that show alcohol is a contributing factor in domestic violence, sexual assaults, and other violent

Hi Yahoo Answers Friends,

You don't know us, but I am hoping someone out there can help. We are going to be evicted from my mom's home, My daughter (12) and I moved here to help her, she died just before Christmas, 2004. I recieved a notice from a deputy today, saying I have five days to respond.

My brother in Vermont, is the executor of the estate. He is not running things properly and when a probate court hearing could not determine wether we should pay rent and if so, how much, he proceeded with a civil eviction.

The house is un-repaired since Hurricane Charley. The estate has the insurance money. We’ve been patient, keep it from falling apart, hoping the others would "do the right thing" and give us a chance to keep it. We are 50% benefactors; the estate lawyer sent us a letter telling us they are filing an eviction BEFORE they fix the house.

I purchased a very expensive perfume bottle on eBay that was insured for $2000.00. I provided the broken bottle, the packaging, proof of payment etc..Insurance slip etc.. to the local Post office clerk who processed the claim. Someone screwed up and they refused the payment with the reason that I do not have proof that it was broken in transit. My local postman said to refile the claim as soon as I receive the notice that my appeal is rejected but conveniently I have not received it. I wanted to file a claim in Small claims Court but I was told that I cannot sue the Federal Government in in small claims court. I thought that the Postal Insurance was handled by a private entity hired by the postal service? What Can I do?
