If you have call blocking with your phone carrier, then use that. Call them and they will explain to you how to use it. You can also ask for a TRO by filing a harrasment complaint with the police department. If all else fails, get an attorney, if you don't already have one and let them handle it. Changing your phone number is also an option. P.S, if they are calling you and you have asked them to stop, allow the recorder to pick up and save all the messages so you can show how many times they have called.

The best option in this case is to resolve the matter in the court or otherwise. But, to answer your question, you can get a caller id phone with "block number" feature. You may need to subscribe to caller id. Plz contact your telephone service provider for that. In fact, they may also block the number for you, in which case you won't need a new phone.

PS - IMHO, blocking the number won't solve this problem. The driver may simply call from a different number or visit your house. The best way is to resolve the matter once and for all, and make it clear to him/her that you don't like to be disturbed this way.

Like the other people stated, block your number. Since you know the party's name, call the police and mention that the person is harrassing you. You can change your phone number as well. Make sure that when you change your phone number you tell the phone company you want your number unlisted. Otherwise this person can get your number again.

It would be interesting to know why they are calling. Record it or simply tell them to communicate with your insurance company, and have the number handy, and simply say you are not going to talk to them.

(I would be curious if they would admit "fault", you'd have it recorded.)

Have their number blocked. Have you asked them to stop calling?

Tell them to stop, and give them the number to your attorney/insurance carrier. If it continues, file suit. (document the calls)

If you have their address, send them a certified letter with a return receipt-they have to sign it and it comes back to you. (that they received your letter.)
If they still continue to call, consult an attorney.
