Your question isn't entirely clear. Do you mean to ask how long it can be in session per day? Per trial? What are you referring to?

I'm an attorney in Southern California. We have court hearings as early as 8:00 a.m. and there is usually a 1.5 hour break for lunch. The court day usually ends by 4:30. Some courts have night court like traffic and small claims. These rules aren't set in stone, so the presiding judge can make some changes as needed.

It usually goes from around like 9am to evening.4-6 usually latest but the judge can prolong it if it near end of trial or something.
