I am a 3L in law school and am looking for good search engines for law firms that routinely hire out of law school. (please dont answer monster or hotjobs etc - only real legal search engines please). I am looking for something similar to NALP or Martindale...

Try http://www.surfwax.com This is a professional search engine. I learned about it when I was studying to be a school librarian. This is the reference librarian's search engine.

When you go to surfwax, look at the blue navigation bar. Click on Vertical Markets. In Vertical Markets, you will find three categories, "law,' "education," and "personal." Click on law, and read what it says there.

The engine is free, but you can also pay for services. I am an educator, and I use this search engine ALL the time...ok, well, MOST of the time.

Hope this helps.
