He said he need to weld it and come back he asked when is good time for me and I said Tues or Thurs.He never came on tues and weds he tried to come but I didn't let him in Cuz I work basically a grave schedule and I was right in the middle of sleeping and it was not my day off like we planned.Also the manager left me a message Tues afternoon But I didn't recieve it until the middle of the night.When I woke on weds. it was after 5pm.When I went to bed it was before 9am. So because of my schedule I couldn't call back until thurs now she says he is on vacation and I have to wait until next week.because he is on vacation and he tried to knock on my door supposeivly every day.He didn't the only time was on tues.I askd if my water heater breaks and I can't take a shower what should I do call a plumber she said who is going to pay for that it is very expensive.you you can't leave me with no water until he gets back from vacation she said yes I can because You didn't let him in on tues ? I do

My friend has 2 felony charges that are pending. He has no priors. The first felony charge is a level 3 and the second felony charge is a level 7. He's a college student and is working. He currently has a public defender who is not working for him in a proper manner. Right now, he's looking for a good attorny. What can a private attorny say or do to get him at least probation out of this situation? or is it possible for him to get probation knowing he has no priors?..I want positive feed back from people who have seen, been, experienced, or can relate to this situation. My ex is about $22,000 in debt to child support. We were divorced in Idaho (where I live), and he lives in Colorado. I have been dealing with Child Support Enforcement for the longest time and they just don't seem to move much. He does currently have a suspended drivers license, but that is it. He is self employed and does not take care of his taxes at all. He has no property except a truck. But he does work and makes good money. He is also remarried with two stepkids. Apparently new family is more important than his own two children. And he lies to our children and tells them he is paying the support. I do not know how to get the support people to act more agressively. Should I seek an attorney's help? I don't have any extra money though. Advice would be much appreciated!!

I've been reading a little bit about libel, which seems to be written defamation of character. I've also found that defamation is a 'false fact', but I haven't found much to cover opinions.

If I don't like my neighbor, would it be legal for to buy or rent a billboard for a couple years and plaster "I think John Smith sucks!"?

I'm not stating a fact, but it is clearly a negative opinion of the person.

I did not do it?
But i am stuck... problems is i was at my girl friends house NOT staying there BUT there and someone called in on me for living there and i was put in jail for a 3rd degree felony... What can i do to prove i was not living there.. I have not been on probation in 6 years and i should not have to register anyway. Texas pased a law back in 97 and said every one should reister if they was on probation and went back till 1970.. Well i was and i went to court back in 95. Why should i... I got the raw in of the deal. I did not do nothing wrong in the first place but i was scared because they said i can be put away for 20 years so i took probation.. someone please help.

i was registered at MY address i just visited her..She knows and has kids i was hinding nothing from her i am 40 and this all stared 13 years ago.. the neighor called after they found out and said i was living there but i was not. I stayed the night 2 times the past month but i did go over there after work inall..

By the way her kids also know and i also have joint custody of my kids.. i was not hiding or trying to beat the sytem.

I had a car wreck about 10 months ago that wasnt my fault. I wasnt hurt but my car was totaled. It was a 1995 but in really good shape. I think I would have to go to small claims court. I live in MS and the maximum is 2500.00. My question is, Is it too much of a hassle to go to court over this and how long should I expect to wait before I would get a court date? Also, what if the other person doesnt have the money to pay me? I think its totally unfair that this person hit me and has got away with it.

why did Israel bomb civilian buildings in Beirot, where not a single rocket was luanched from there (western journalists and embassies are witnesses) , these buildings were full of civilians (innocent civilians) ,
now as a direct result of Israel irresponsible, inhuman actions, those civilians are more likely to turn into suicide bombers after the trauma they've been through, so many years of their lives just vaporized in the air, imagine you are 35y/o spent 10 years raising 3 kids, and in one day, you find your family all dead, homless , . . .

(please don't compare what hezballa did with what Israeli did,we will discuss that another time..and Israel is supposed to be the oasis of civilization, and should not behave as a blood-thirsty monester ..)

My motorcycle gets a mimimum of 65 MPG, which makes even a Prius that gets in the 40's (which is what Popular Mechanics tested their true MPG to be) a gas guzzler.

Why don't environmentalists drive motorcycles if they really cared about Gas Mileage and saving the environment?

Why do they insist on killing the earth? Is it just too inconveinent?
