I have learned how to keep speeding tickets off of your record. Everytime you speed ,and get a ticket when you send in the payment send in a dollar over your actual due. That way they will send you a check for 1 dollar ,and they can not put the action on your record until that check is cashed.

If it is an actual criminal charge (such as credit card fraud), most places keep it on forever unless you apply to have it removed (pardoned). Speeding demerit points last 4 years. (in Ontario)

even after paying, doing time 4 the crime , you can never remove the record in fact if you happen to get caught up down the road the penalties are more severe. u have got to pay a second time in addition 2 the new payment. dont do the crime if u cant do the time over & over & over...

speeding will stay on for 3 years (in nj that is, not sure if its the same for all states) if u keep a clean record...fraud will stay on for life
