What really shocks me is that the media, and certain people, are fixated on a murder that happened 10 years ago. It sad that many other children who have been abducted and killed and have not received this kind of attention, and their killers can continue with their lives with impunity. It speaks poorly of our law enforcement and our collective morality, that money becomes the factor that distinguishes between those who receive justice and those who don’t. After all, if it weren’t for the wealth of the Ramseys the murder would not have had the staying power in the media that it had. I don’t mind that class distinction affects so many facets of our life, but it shouldn’t effect whose life we give more value to.

Well, there is still some question about if he really is the killer but it sounds like he is. I'm glad they have him. He says he loved her and it was an accident. What a sicko. If it turns out to be him I hope he gets the death penalty, especially since he is in trouble for other crimes against kids too.

Why would I be "shocked" I'm just glad it appears that the authorities accomplished another job of good police work. Of course we have to wait for the due process of law to conclude in order to make a final determination as to whether he is the guilty party or not.

No. We still don't know if he was the killer. He is ALLEGED to be the killer, and we don't know if his confession was coerced or not. If there is a trial, it could be a long affair.
It's too bad the family has to go through all this sensational journalism again. Just let it go or keep it quiet. I was just enjoying not hearing about Jon Benet too.

Its so sad that this pig has lived for the past 10 years. She would have been 16 years old.
He looks like there is something wrong with him too. Its horrifying to even imagine losing a child but to not know how and to be accused. I cant imagine.

The mom died this previous June, even if the Dad remains alive. i'm satisfied they arrested someone, yet a number of the tale is fishy. i'm not particular he's the killer or, a minimum of, the purely man or woman who took area interior the crime.

Dont get ahead of the game here, He has not been convicted yet. But yes, I hope it is solved. Too bad her mom died with folks thinking she did it.

Yes. But, I still have questions.
And, like the father of Polly Klaas said, "I'd say anything to stay out of a Tailand prison and get back to the United States."
I think that I'll wait and see what sort of evidence comes out.

Absolutely! The best part is he admitted to killing her so he can get fried that much quicker! I thought the parents were guilty too, I feel dirty for all the suspicion I directed to them and that i laughed at the cartoons of them on South Park.

We won't know if he actually did it until they release more information. But from what I've been reading he probably didn't do it. He was just obsessed about the case. His ex-wife has come forward and claimed that he was in Alabama at the time of the murder. So...But given his history...He's a sick, sick man.
