Yes, they are supposed to disclose how much of the event ticket charge is tax deductible donation and how much is "cost" for the value of the event.

If you mean you are inviting peple to an event, you don't have to include a tax # on an invitation.
If someone makes a donation to you, you may provide them with your tax exempt status so that you would not have to pay taxes.
I would suggest calling your accountant and he will advise you on whether or not you are required to do what ever it is you're doing.
