With regards to illegal immigration.

I have read many questions and answers from people who not only think that illegal immigration is not hurting the middle class but it is somehow helping it?

Every report or article that I have read states that the middle class is shrinking and hurting from outsourcing, increasing tax burden, NAFTA and illegal immigration.

The tax burden to the middle class increases while wages remain the same or lower in some cases.

What is your opinion on the topic?

Should we have just stuck with the sanctions like oil for food , and not have gone to war?
I mean nearly 500,000 children did die of starvation without US forces attacking. That seemed to really make the people stand up against saddam right?

In 1996 then-UN Ambassador Madeleine Albright was asked by 60 Minutes correspondent Lesley Stahl, in reference to years of U.S.-led economic sanctions against Iraq, “We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that is more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?”

To which Ambassador Albright responded, “I think that is a very hard choice, but the price, we think, the price is worth it.”

I've been here 12 years and have always been a decent tenant. I went to do the annual paperwork regarding my rental assistance and was told this by the property manager when I was expecting to sign a new lease. (She's unhappy with me because I've complained about some things.) So, I assume that they are not going to renew my lease. It's been a week and a half and nobody will tell me anything. My current lease is up in two months. If I leave sometime this month will they say I'm breaking my current lease? What are my rights here? I live in Indiana.

I'm no liberal and I DO agree there is a problem.

I've been reading a lot of articles on coal mine fires in China, indonesia and right here in the US on the levels of polution being spewed into the atmosphere.

They number into the thousands according to many sources.

This link is only one and I can't verify it's validity.

What is your opinion? Could it be one of the larger culprits?

How can Dems ignore the lives wasted by using nuclear bombs needlessly?

Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, Commander in Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, reflected this reality when he wrote, "The Japanese had, in fact, already sued for peace.the atomic bomb played no decisive part, from a purely military point of view, in the defeat of Japan."

Admiral William D. Leahy, Chief of Staff to President Truman, said the same thing: "The use of [the atomic bombs] at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was of no material assistance in our war against Japan. The Japanese were already defeated and ready to surrender."

Have you asked the inter city poor, the starving in rural Appalachia? Are all those construction jobs in Vegas low paying? You say we'd all pay higher prices ...aren't we doing that NOW with health care, taxes and increased crime? Doesn't America have the technology to "mechanize" the "big business farms? Or is it the small farmer that is being pushed out that is need of the cheap labor? We subsidize big business farms which drives up prices... we "GIVE" Mexico millions of dollars in "AID" why not use that to subsidize the low wages! What type job is next? Garbage men? Teachers?

Clinton lied to the American Public about 'THAT WOMAN'. Gore calls him the Greatest President in a Rose Garden speach. And yet a Senator is forced out of his party because of a 'misdemeaner'. What a bunch of two-faced politicans we have. Clinton goes scott free, and Idaho goes down the tubes. What's wrong with this picture?,

I'm not saying whether Russians are right or wrong. But, I am telling you the impression that FDR and the Dems left upon generations of Russians.

Why did Dems & FDR ruin America's image?

New terrorist laws should have Americans found as guilty. The rest of the world should build one giant prison like Guantanamo to put the Americans who are caught travelling outside the US.

No more quagmires! Not against wars, just POINTLESS and NEEDLESS wars. Such as Spanish-American war, Korea, Viet-Nam, Iraq part II.

The USA should only fight wars that serve a purpose such as the Civil War, WWI, WWII, The First Iraq War. Wars to liberate the oppressed, free nations that have been taken over, and stop genocide.

The USA is in the wrong, but the Bush Administration will not admit it.
