Is it hypocritical for the US to complain about any foreign intervention in Iraq given that we illegally invaded and occupied Iraq and since then, have destroyed it?

Seems to me that ANY country (not just Iran but other countries as well) in the region would intervene because their interests are and will be at peril if the US occupation DOES continue...

The US illegally invaded and now occupies Iraq, the Saudi PM said so at the Arab Summit last spring... It seems highly hypocritical that the US should complain about other country's attempts to fight to correct the disaster that has befallen their neighbor and will certainly affect them if nothing is done.

What do you think?

In the past year or so our neighbors have decided to start blaring music with a lot of bass either in their house (with the windows/doors open), or out of their cars, or both. The cops don't care, they claim they can't do anything. Communication is not an option apparently. I thought I was above revenge, but I'm nearly at my wits end now. They're just white trash, and I totally believe in karma. But is there any other way we can deal with noisy neighbors, or should we just wear earplugs for the remainder of our time here?

Looks like bush is mounting efforts that might provoke action against Iran.

Do you think he will actually go through with action against them?

as an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
As many people are aware the USA army is responsible for most friendly fire incidents in the middle east, killing more allies than enemies. I have a theory as follows.
I believe that the USA army is secretly buying its guns from fairground owners who have bent the barrels to prevent you from winning prizes e.g fluffy toys. These guns are then given to the USA troops who quite obviously cant hit a barndoor with a banjo.
Does anyone agree?

Why does the UK Government spend so much money on anti-smoking campaigns?
They spend millions/billions with smoking bans and images and text on cigarette packets and on NHS stop smoking adverts.

And don't trot out the Crusades as an example of "Christian aggression against 'innocent' Muslims'. Real history is that the Crusades were a defensive reaction to centuries of Islamic conquest and agression. This is REAL HISTORY not the watered down anti-Western history your liberal professors have indocrinated you with.

After 2 years it seems like the government has done all they are likely to do about New Orleans. The local economy can't even support the population that's already there, and the free market will determine the level of re-development.
You don't hear the people of Mississippi complaining and crying for more help. They rolled up their sleeves and got things done. Why does New Orleans deserve any more help?

I was stopped by the Police driving on a private estate with on licence and insurance, i told them that i was driving on a road on a private estate and i dont need a license nor insurance to do that but my friend was found Guilty yesterday of similar issuse on the grounds that as long as the public have access, it is a public road but my argument is that as long as it is a road on a private estate and the council does not have responsibility of, in terms of the license aspects, its a private road and any public accessing that private road without landowners permission is tresspassing, am i right? please help

I have a 21 year old daughter with learning disabilities. My ex-wife has sole custody and is my daughters legal guardian. My daughter has had major back surgery, eye surgery, full braces, she was molested by her stepfather a few years ago, she lost her grandparents whom she was very close to. mY DAUGHTER is terrified of anything that has to do with doctors, hospitals or even going for a routine exam. My daughter and I are very close she is the love of my life. Her age is 21 but she is really like a 14 year old. She cannot drive, she wont be able to have a relationship or have children and she really cannot take care of herself. She does no the difference between right and wrong and yes & No. My questions are because she is 21 in a worse case scenario if she needed something like open-heart surgery even if it was to save her but because she is so scared if she said no is that the final answer. I will side with my daughter before my xwife or any doctor. also do they need my OK for that

Clinton supports a smoking ban in public places nationwide.

Do you think it is a good idea or do you think it is another symptom of the nanny state.
