Only if you're running for president of Venezuela. Remember, once an American president no longer views Fidel and his brother as threats, then Fidel and his brother do not have the fear factor of the US to keep control of the people of Cuba. So, Fidel and his brother want another republican to be elected.

It doesn't help but the truth is he isn't endorsing them but merely suggesting they would be an invincible ticket.
If you actually read this already slanted article it also says:"While Castro seems to think the two would make a powerful combo, he wasn't all love and kisses for the Democratic front-runners, who have demanded greater democratic reforms in Cuba.
"Both of them feel the sacred duty of demanding 'a democratic government in Cuba,'" Castro wrote. "They are not making politics: They are playing a game of cards on a Sunday afternoon."

Well, a lot of Liberals would have us a socialist country. Go far enough left and communism is there. Maybe the endorsement is thought to be good by Liberals as they might think they could deal with Castro and his son who is next in line for the regime.

Fidel Castro is an eyesore and an abomination to the earth, and to the heavens. However, if this tyrant wishes to express his views on the U.S. election, he is allowed to do that. Castro has been a liar from the beginning, like the devil that dwells within him. As far as his prediction goes, he is dead wrong about Barack Obama.

Can anyone prove Castro actual writes these memoirs? He hasn't been seen in public for over a year, and many think he's actually dead. There is such a thing called propaganda.

Since Democrats are leftists of one shade or another, it doesn't matter to them if a communist dictator endorses them.
Those of us who value freedom and capitalism can see how a liberal political and economic policy would be disasterous for our country.
